John David Washington is currently at the top of his career. His most recent release was Malcom & Marie & Christopher Nolan‘s Tenet. John David Washington has earned Golden Globe and SAG Awards nominations for his performance in BlacKkKlansman film. Washington has recently completed work on the New Regency’s upcoming Canterburry Glass film, that’s being directed by David O. Russell. Apart from Washington, film also featuring stars Christian Bale, Robert De Niro, Mike Myers, Margot Robbie and Chris Rock. Beckett is another John David Washington’s film, that is schedule to release this on August 27, 2021 on Netflix. In addition to John David Washington in the Beckett film also featuring stars Alicia Vikander, Boyd Holbrook and Vicky Krieps. Beckett will be a thriller film and directed by Ferdinando Cito Filomarino for Netflix.
Gareth Edwards’s upcoming sci-fi film ‘True Love’ set in near future. Apart from this, nothing has been undisclosed about the film’s story. New Regency will produce and finance the ‘True Love’ film. Gareth Edwards is also producing the film with producer Kiri Hart, who was the producer of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story film. Gareth Edwards, who started his directional career with the 2010 Monsters film, will have True Love as the director’s film 4th. He has also directed films such as 2014’s Monster Verse Godzilla for Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures.
New Regency’s Other Upcoming Project
New Regency has many current big projects. Prominent among them is Adrian Lyne’s ‘Deep Water’ film that featuring stars, Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas. Deep Water film originally scheduled to release on November 13, 2020. But due to Covid-19, the film’s release was postponed till 13 August 2021. But once again the film’s release had to be pushed forward, now Deep Water film will be released next year on 14 January 2022.

The Second New Regency’s big one is The Northman film. The Northman film will be historical thriller and directed by Robert Eggers. Screenplay for The Northman film is being written by Robert Eggers and Sjón. The Northman film featuring stars, Alexander Skarsgård, Anya Taylor‑Joy, Björk and Bill Skarsgård. There is no release date confirmed for film The Northman till now.

New Regency is also developing a new ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith’ series for Amazon. Mr. & Mrs. Smith series featuring stars Actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Donald Glover. ‘The Beast Must Die’ British series is also developing at New Regency. Apple TV Plus’s ‘The Crowded Room’ series also is in development at New Regency, that featuring star Tom Holland.
