Daisy Ridley to star in STX’s thriller film, ‘The Marsh King’s Daughter‘. This upcoming psychological thriller film will be directed by Neil Burger, who is best known his film, ‘Voyagers’, ‘The Upside’ and ‘Limitless’. Teddy Schwarzman is producing the film with his Black Bear Pictures and Keith Redmon ( The Revenant ).
‘The Marsh King’s Daughter‘ is based on novel by Karen Dionne with same name and published on June 13, 2017. Novel was published in 25 languages. The novel is full of Thriller, Mystery, Suspense, Fairy tale, Psychological Fiction.

‘The Marsh King’s Daughter‘ Film’s Plot
‘The Marsh King’s Daughter‘ film’s story follows Helena ( Daisy Ridley ), a woman living a simple life. Helena has kept her feelings and thoughts hidden for a long time. His father is an infamous Marsh king who kept his daughter Helena and wife captive in the forest for years. Meanwhile, Helena somehow manages to escape from her father’s captivity. But the problems do not end there, Helena’s past appears to be standing in front of her. To save his power and escape from the past, King Marsh sent demons to kill mother and daughter, Helena.

STX Films and Neil Burger to work together once again after superhit drama comedy film, “The Upside”. STX Films had already secured the rights for ‘The Marsh King’s Daughter‘. Film will be directly distribute in United Kingdom, Ireland and India. However, United States rights were negotiated with Black Bear Pictures and CCA Media Finance. ‘The Marsh King’s Daughter‘ film’s production is expected to begin in Canada on this June.
