Actress Emily Blunt may star in Christopher Nolan’s next epic World War II film, ‘Oppenheimer’.
If all goes well, one of the most successful actresses at present, Emily Blunt, could star in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming World War II film, Oppenheimer. If that happens, the actress will be back in the lead role with her ‘A Quiet Place 2’ co-star Cillian Murphy. Apparently, Cillian Murphy is playing the title role as J. Robert Oppenheimer in Christopher Nolan’s next war drama. According to reports, Emily Blunt may play the role of Cillian Murphy’s wife, who was American physicist and centric to the Manhattan Project.
If that happens, it will be the first time Emily will be working with Christopher. Although Cillian Murphy and Nolan have worked together in many films before, like, ‘Batman Begins‘, ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, ‘Inception‘ and ‘Dunkirk‘.
Christopher Nolan will direct the film as well as write the screenplay, which based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book ‘American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer’ by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin. The production of the film will start in early 2022.

Oppenheimer Release
Universal’s Oppenheimer is scheduled to release on July 21, 2023 in theaters.
Universal Studios bought the rights to Oppenheimer for 100 million in a bidding, competing with other major studios such as Paramount Studio. and Sony. It will be the first time in two decades that Christopher Nolan will film for a studio other than Warner Bros. Nolan’s last release for Warner Bros. Tenet. Nolan’s Tenet, despite being a superhit film, got caught in the hands of Covid-19. The film managed to do business of only $363 million at the box office with a budget of $200 million.
Emily Blunt is currently at the peak of her career. Each of her films is flying the flag of success at the box office. Actress’s recent releases in 2021 were A Quiet Place 2 and Disney’s Dwayne Johnson starrer ‘Jungle Cruise’. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic crisis, both the films have performed very well at the box office. Made with a budget of around $60 million, A Quiet Place 2 has done business of $297.3 million worldwide at the box office. Later, after seeing the success, ‘A Quiet Place’ Third Film Confirmed At Paramount Studio. Jungle Cruise, on the other hand, managed to earn $212.6 million at the box office with a budget of $200 million, although it was released on Disney Plus and as well as in theaters on same day. As well as Disney Studio also confirmed that, ‘Jungle Cruise’ Sequel In Works With Dwayne Johnson And Emily Blunt.
