Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever film production has just begun at Atlanta’s Pinewood Studios, USA. In this context, a new actress has been confirmed in the cast of the film. HBO Max series ‘I May Destroy You‘ star Michaela Coel joins the film’s cast. Although Marvel Studios has not commented on this casting. According to Variety, this news has come from a reliable insider, that Michaela Coel has been cast in Ryan Coogler’s directorial Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Michaela Coel is not an unknown face, she has earned 4 Emmy nominations for the HBO Max series ‘I May Destroy You’. Along with this, she has also been a part of Netflix’s sci-fi series ‘Black Mirror‘ and ‘Chewing Gum‘. She has also worked in Netflix’s musical film ‘Been So Long‘ and Disney‘s Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Apart from directing, Ryan Coogler has also write the story of the film with Joe Robert Cole. Kevin Feige is producing the film. Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong’o, Florence Kasumba and Angela Bassett are likely to return to reprise their roles.
