‘Aisha’: First Look Reveals For Letitia Wright and Josh O’Connor Starrer Epic Drama

Letitia Wright and Josh O’Connor starrer upcoming drama ‘Aisha’ film’s first look revealed. Along with this Cornerstone Films has acquires worldwide sales rights ahead of the Cannes virtual market this upcoming month.

Recently, the production of the film Aisha was wrapped, which was being shot in Ireland. Aisha film is written and directed by Frank Berry. He has previously directed the 2017’s crime drama film, Michael Inside. Tristan Orpen Lynch, Aoife O’Sullivan and Donna Eperson are serving as producer for Aisha film with Park Picture’s Sam Bisbee. Aisha film is developed and financed by BBC Film, RTE, Screen Ireland and Broadcasting Authority of Ireland in association with Park Pictures, Wavelength and World of Ha Productions. Rose Garnett of BBC Film, Hallee Adelman, Jenifer Westphal, Jackie Kelman Bisbee, Ivy Herman, Lance Acord, Joe Plummer, George Rush, William Byerley and Wendy Neu are serving as executive producer for Aisha film.

Aisha Film’s Plot

Aisha film will follow Aisha Osagie, a young Nigerian woman, who seeks international protection in Ireland. She caught in limbo in Ireland’s immigration system for years. Meanwhile, she meets former prisoner Conor Healy at the accommodation center. Slowly both fall in love. Their friendship is on the verge of ending very soon, when Aisha’s future in Ireland comes under threat.

Aisha film’s director Frank Berry said in a statement that, “Making the film Aisha has been a very special experience so far. I am looking forward to all of us to release Aisha film for national and international audience next year”.

We’ve seen Letitia Wright in Marvel’s Black Panther , Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame films. However, Letitia Wright started her acting career with the Channel 4 TV series Top Boy. Apart from the film Aisha, Letitia Wright has Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Sing 2, Death on the Nile, Surrounded and Silent Twins films to coming.
