Alia Bhatt Joins Gal Gadot In Netflix’s ‘Heart Of Stone’.

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is going to debut in English-language industry with Netflix and Skydance’ spy thriller Heart of Stone.

Currently, one of the successful Bollywood actresses, Alia Bhatt to star in Netflix’s spy thriller ‘Heart of Stone’ in which the lead role of Wonder Woman is played by Gal Gadot . Tom Harper of Peaky Blinders will direct the film for Netflix. Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder have written the script for Netflix’s spy thriller. From Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger are producing the project along with Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn of Mockingbird. Gal Gadot is also producing the film under her Pilot Wave banner with Jaron Varsano. Tom Harper, Greg Rucka are serving as executive producer along with Patty Whitcher.

It is not yet known what the story of Netflix’s Heart of Stone will be. Apart from Gal Gadot and Alia Bhatt, Netflix’s new spy thriller also stars Jamie Dornan from Kenneth Branagh Joins.‘s Belfast. Apparently, in January last year 2021, Netflix acquired the rights to Heart of Stone in a competitive auction, work on which is now in full swing. Skydance has been associated with the project since the auction, which has launched it in the market.

Alia Bhatt is not a new face, the actress’s 2019 Gully Boy was well received by the audience which premiered at the Berlin Film Festival. Later, Gully Boy also received a nomination in the Oscars in the Best Foreign Film category from India.

The actress started her career with Bollywood’s well-known producer and director Karan Johar’s 2012 Student of the Year. Actress’s recent release is Gangubai Kathiawadi directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali , which is doing quite well at the box office. Obviously Alia Bhatt has also won 4 FilmFare Awards. Netflix’s Heart of Stone will give a boost to her career internationally. She will next seen in S. S. Rajamouli’ much awaited, RRR.
