Amazon dropped the teaser for its much awaited series The Boys Season 3 during SXSW.
Fans’ excitement is at its peak with the latest teaser of the boys season 3. The new teaser is more brutal and Karl Urban’s Billy Butcher’s gleaming eyes become the center of its attraction. Of course, Jensen Ackles, who is going to debut as a Soldier Boy in the series, is also promising in the initial glimpse. Apart from Jensen Ackles, Miles Gaston Villaneuva is also joining the series as Supersonic, as well as Sean Patrick Flanery as Gunpowder. Nick Wechsler and Laurie Holden are also joins the Amazon’s signature for the first time to play Blue Hawk and Crimson Countess.
The teaser shows that Karl Urban’s Billy Butcher has become a Supe for revenge from Anthony Starr’ Homelander and Compound V. Jack Quaid’ Hughie finds himself helpless during teaser. The teaser kicks off with a few dance moves with non-stop brutal scenes of blood oozing out. Also, there is a deepening friendship between Tomer Kapon’s Frenchie and Karen Fukuhara’s Kimiko. Chace Crawford’s Deep is now enjoying physical pleasure among girls away from fish. Erin Moriarty, on the other hand, remains the puppet between Star Light, The Boys and Vought with nothing but regrets.
Clearly, The Boys Season 3 teaser throws light on more bloodshed, dirty politics and revenge than ever before.
Plot
The Boys is based on the comic book by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson of the same name. The Boys is set in a universe where supes are recognized as heroes by the general public and work for the mighty corporation Vought International, which markets and monetizes them. Outside of his heroic personality, most are arrogant and corrupt. However, Vought also makes Supes along with Compound V for its own benefit. The series primarily focuses on two groups: The Seven, Vought’s dominant superhero team, and the eponymous Boys, Vought and his vigilantes looking to bring down corrupt superheroes. The Boys are led by Billy Butcher of Karl Urban, whose team includes Hughie, Mother Milk, Frenchie and Kimiko. Vought’s The Seven, on the other hand, is led by Anthony Starr’s Homelander.
The Boys featuring also stars Laz Alonso, Jessie T Usher, Aya Cash, Claudia Doumit, Nathan Mitchell, Giancarlo Esposito, and Shawn Ashmore. The series was developed by Eric Kripke and he also serves as a writer and executive producer. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and James Weaver of Point Grey Pictures are also serving as executive producers as well as Neal H. Moritz and Pavun Shetty from Original Film along with Rebecca Sonnenshine, Phil Sgriccia, Craig Rosenberg, Ken Levin and Jason Netter. Comic Book writer Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson are also serving as executive producers with Michael Saltzman. TV series The Boys season 3 is produced by Amazon Studio with Sony Pictures Television. Point Gray Pictures, Kripke Enterprises and Original Film have also produced the series.
The Boys Season 3 Release Date
Amazon’s The Boys season 3 is set to premiere with first 3 episode on streaming service platform Prime Video on June 3, 2022. Then, new episodes of the series will be released every Friday and the season finale will be on July 8.
