Universal’s adventure thriller ‘Beast’ film is all set to release in theaters in summer 2022. Idris Elba is playing lead character in Universal‘s Beast film.
Baltasar Kormákur is directing the film, Beast. Baltasar Kormákur has previously directed Contraband film for Universal Studios. Apart from this, he has directed films like The Oath, 2 Guns, Everest and Adrift.
The story of the film Beast has been written by Ryan Engle, who has previously written Dwayne Johnson’s Rampage and Liam Neeson‘s Non-Stop film. Beast Film is produced by Will Packer and James Lopez with their Will Packer Productions. Jaime Primak Sullivan and Bernard Bellew are serving as executive producer for Beast film.
Beast will be a survival/thriller- adventure film. The story of the film Beast will follow Idris Elba’s character, who has two daughters. The script of the film will follow the background of South Africa. Where they will find themselves in great danger, when they face a giant lion. Will they be overcome by the giant lion? We will know this in summer next year.

Beast Film Release Date
Universal will release its upcoming adventure thriller film Beast in Theaters on August 19, 2022.
In addition to the Beast film, Idris Elba has more major projects, Warner Bros. & DC ‘The Suicide Squad’ and Jon Favreau and Disney ‘s The Jungle Book 2.

The Suicide Squad film is directed by James Gunn. The film stars ‘John Cena’, Margot Robbie, Pete Davidson, Joel Kinnaman, Michael Rooker and Daniela Melchior in addition to the lead character Idris Elba. The Suicide Squad film is set to release on August 6, 2021 in theaters and on HBO Max on same day.
The Jungle Book 2 live-action film will be directed by Jon Favreau for Disney. Apart from Idris Elba, The Jungle Book 2 film also featuring stars Scarlett Johansson, Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley and Neel Sethi. The Jungle Book 2 film is expected to release in somewhere in 2022 or early 2023.
