‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ Resumes Production After Letitia Wright Recovering From Injury

After Letitia Wright’s recovery, production of Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is back on track, which begins next week in Georgia.

Apparently, in August last year, actress Letitia Wright suffered an injury while shooting in Boston, which delayed the production of ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ . But in the month of November, Marvel revealed that the injury to the actress was worse than imagined. In this context the studio announced a delay in production of the mega sequel.

Marvel President Kevin Feige said in a statement that, “We initially thought Letitia’s injury was minor, but it got worse with the actress fractured her shoulder and serious side effects.”

But now that Letitia has recovered, the production is also going to start soon. Remember, letitia has a big responsibility on her shoulders after the titular actor Chadwick Boseman died of cancer at the age of 43. Because she is going to play a more important role in the sequel. If rumours are to be believed, she may be seen as a Black Panther in the sequel. Obviously, the actress plays Shuri in the MCU.

Earlier Marvel Studio also confirmed that, Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa Will Not Recast In ‘Black Panther 2’. Now it will be interesting to see how the story of the sequel will progress.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Release Date

Marvel initially scheduled the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever for July 8, 2022. But in the month of October last year, the studio pushed the release of Black Panther 2 along with other projects. Now this superhero flick will release in theaters on November 11, 2022.

Ryan Coogler is directing the sequel. The original star cast is joined by Michaela Coel of the HBO Max series ‘I May Destroy You.

Letitia Wright Upcoming Movies

Apart from Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Letitia Wright has films like Frank Berry’s ‘Aisha’, Agnieszka Smoczyńska’s ‘Silent Twins‘ and Anthony Mandler’s ‘Surrounded‘. But Letitia will first appear in Kenneth Branagh’s Death on the Nile, which has a release date set for February 11, 2022.
