Actor Daniel Craig has said goodbye to the title role after ‘No Time To Die’, the 25th film in the James Bond series. Clearly, fans are extremely disappointed after Daniel’s exit from the franchise. It is worth noting that 5 films done by Daniel Craig have changed the attitude of the fans towards the franchise. Age is also a factor in leaving the franchise as a settled actor never does injustice to his character. You say, as Hugh Jackman is currently doing with his Marvel’s character of Wolverine. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Daniel Craig is the most influential James Bond ever, whether there’s Late Sean Connrey or Roger Moore. But the way Craig has played Ian Fleming’s fictional character is commendable. However, the successor to James Bond is yet to be announced following the actor’s exit from the franchise.

While big studios like Warner Bros., Marvel and Paramount are releasing their projects on their own streaming platforms HBO Max, Disney Plus and Paramount Plus etc. The same Daniel Craig is keeping his opinion completely opposite for the release of James Bond films.

In a conversation with IANS, Daniel has urged that James Bond films be released only in theaters and not on streaming platforms. In this context Craig says that “One of the biggest things is that we got this movie in the cinema. That’s where Bond movies should be. They don’t look so good on the phone. They look great on an Imax screen. Feels great on a 30ft screen. And those are family events. It gets the family out. As long as there are event films like this, theaters have had a chance to survive.”

The actor also says that, “I hope I left it in a good place and I hope the next person can fly it. This is an amazing franchise. I still feel like there’s a lot of stories to tell.”

Daniels apparently had an emotional departure from the franchise’s No Time To Die, where he eventually sacrificed himself to save his partner Madeleine (Lee Seydoux) and their daughter Mathilde (Lisa-Dorah Sonnet). Daniel Craig has starred in the James Bond franchise so far in the films Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, Spectre and No Time To Die.

Daniel Craig is currently busy with Netflix’s ‘Knives Out 2’., which Rian Johnson is directing. Dave Bautista, Kate Hudson, Edward Norton, Janelle Monae, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Madelyn Cline, Jessica Henwick and Ethan Hawke are also stars in Knives Out’s Sequel.
