Recently, actor Daniel Radcliffe has addressed rumors of playing next Wolverine in the X-Men films.
There is still confusion in the minds of the fans as to who will play the next Wolverine? In the meantime, however, fans have pegged several actors for the most loved character in the X-Men franchise who will step into the iconic character of Hugh Jackman. This list includes actors like Venom’s Tom Hardy, Taron Egerton, who can replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. In the meantime, the name of Harry Potter fame Daniel Radcliffe also came out, who could be the next Wolverine after the next Jackman.
But recently Daniels put an end to all the rumors that he would be the next Wolverine. In an interview given to GQ, the actor says that, “It’s purely a press tour rumor; I say something, and then occasionally I get bored of answering that way so I say something different, and that sets it off again. I should just never open my mouth.”
33-year-old actor further says that, “I just don’t ever want to get locked into something that I am not sure I will be able to love the same amount the whole time,”
Apparently the actor has long starred in Warner Bros.’ Harry Potter film series based on J. K. Rowling’s fantasy novels. The actor believes that he is not ready for any other long role at the moment. Obviously, Marvel Studios will choose an actor for Wolverine who can work with the franchise for at least 10 or 15 years. There’s no doubt that he could have been a better choice to play the most loved character in the X-Men franchise.
In contrast, sometime earlier this year, Taron Egerton also claimed that he is in talks with Marvel Studios to play Wolverine in the MCU. Well, only when the time comes it will be known who will replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.
Apparently, last September, Ryan Reynolds confirmed on social media that, Hugh Jackman Is Returning As ‘Wolverine’ In ‘Deadpool 3’. Deadpool 3 is schedule to release in theatres on November 8, 2024 for now.
Radcliffe previously seen in Paramount’s action-adventure flick, ‘The Lost City’ alongside Sandra Bullock & Channing Tatum. He will next seen in Yankovic’s biographical drama, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. Film set to release on The Roku Channel on November 4, 2022.
