DC fans have got a fair share of happiness on DC FanDome where they get to know the trailer, teasers and updates of their favorite movies. In this context, DC FanDome dropped several project trailers at its second annual event, which began with a bang with the first look of Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam.
However, the minute-long first look is quite encouraging. The clip begins with some armed squad in the cave, where they awaken Black Adam, DC’s best anti-superhero, imprisoned for years. Then the anti-superhero does what he specializes in, snatching away the power of another, as in the comic book.

The first look clip follows the opening scene of the film. Because the shooting for the film was completed in the month of July and it is currently in post production.
Apart from Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam, DC’s upcoming anti-superhero feature also focuses on the members of the Justice Society, like Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate. The story of the film will be set in the present and 5000 years ago, where Black Adam was imprisoned.
Dwayne Johnson looks perfect in the title character, as if this character was made for him. Such an actor has also made it clear that he was born to play this role. Johnson has also made it clear that Black Adam will change the DC Universe.
The film is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, who previously directed ‘Jungle Cruise’ for Disney along with Dwayne Johnson. Rory Haines, Sohrab Noshirvani and Adam Sztykiel has wrote the script.
Release Date
Warner Bros. and DC’s Black Adam is scheduled to release on July 29, 2022.
