‘Escape Room 2’ film gets earlier release date. Though, Sony Picture’s psychological thriller film was set to release next year on January 7, 2022. But now the film will be released about 6 months before its folding time.

Escape Room 2 is a sequel to the original film of 2019. The original film proved to be a blockbuster at Box Office. The film grossed 155 million dollars on the box with a budget of only 9 million. 2019’s Escape Room film featuring stars Taylor Russell, Deborah Ann Woll, Logan Miller, Tyler Labine, Jay Ellis and Nik Dobani.

Where we saw in the original film that a group of six people gathered in a building to play an Escape Room game to win 10,000 dollars. Where as per the rules of the game, the candidates have to solve a difficult puzzle at every level and proceed. But only 2 candidates are able to reach the front and the others are killed. The way the film ended, it was confirmed to be a sequel.

Adam Robitel directed the 2019’s Escape Room film and Ori MarmurNeal H. Moritz are the producer of psychological thriller. Screenplay was written by Maria Melnik and Bragi F. Schut.

‘Escape Room 2’ Film New Release Date

Now, ‘Escape Room 2’ film will hit theaters on July 16, 2021 for Sony Pictures. Director Adam Robitel is returning for the sequel from original film. Neal H. Moritz is also returning for the sequel to produced the film, ‘Escape Room 2’.

As far as the sequel is concern, nothing has been revealed about the story of the Escape Room 2 film yet. Hopefully, this time in the sequel, we will get to see even more difficult puzzles.

Logan Miller and Taylor Russell also returning for sequel. ‘Escape Room 2’ film also featuring stars Indya Moore, Holland Roden, Isabelle Fuhrman, Carlito Olivero, Thomas Cocquerel and James Frain.
