Halloween’s director is all set to direct the ‘The Exorcist’ film’s sequel.
A good news has come out about the sequel to the 1973 film ‘Exorcist’. Now preparations are underway to make the sequel of this film. According to a reports, the responsibility of directing this film can be given to the director of Halloween, David Gordon Green. David Gordon Green is in talks to Blumhouse and Morgan Creek Productions to direct Exorcist’s sequel.
The film The Exorcist of 1973 was directed by William Friedkin. The film went on to become the highest-grossing film in the R-rated category. The record for this film was bitten by 2017 film’s It . The Exorcist has grossed 441 million dollars worldwide with a budget of 12 million.
The film story is about the tale of a 12-year-old girl possessed by a mysterious entity and the lengths her mother and two Catholic priests go to in an attempt to save her.
The film was based on William Peter Blatty’s 1971 novel ‘The Exorcist’. This is first horror film which has 10 nomination in OSCAR. An English film critics Mark Kermode named it as his “favorite film of all time” that’s a big thing. The Exorcist film had won allover 16 awards with 17 nominations in OSCAR and Golden Globe Awards.
