Gaia Scodellaro is latest entry to Denzel Washington’s action-thriller, The Equalizer 3 at Sony.
Gaia Scodellaro joins Sony’s upcoming action thriller, The Equalizer 3. Actress will be seen alongside two-times Oscar winner Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning in the film. Antoine Fuqua has returned to direct the third installment of The Equalizer, as well as co-producing the film with Denzel Washington. Escape Artists Productions’ Steve Tisch, Jason Blumenthal and Todd Black are also producing the upcoming project. Original writer Richard Wenk wrote the screenplay. The Equalizer 3 is currently in production in Italy.
It is not yet known what will be the story of the next installment of The Equalizer, based on the CBS Network’s TV series of the same name. But it has to be admitted that The Equalizer franchise, which started in 2014, is getting bigger film by film. Washington starrer flick has received tremendous response from critics and audiences in every department from acting to direction. The combined box office collection of both the films released so far has been around $382 million while their budget was around $115 million. Surely the fans are eagerly waiting for the third installment. Clearly, Antoine Fuqua directorial is going to be awesome, as evidenced by the trailer for the Will Smith starrer historical thriller Emancipation. It is worth noting that Denzel Washington won the second Academy Award of his career for Training Day directed by Antoine Fuqua.

Gaia Scodellaro is best known for playing Sister Celine in the 2015’s comedy drama series NBC’s You, Me and the Apocalypse. Along with this, the actress has also worked in the 2021’s romantic drama, Promises. She recently seen in AMC’s Western series, That Dirty Black Bag. Sony Pictures’ The Equalizer 3 will surely give a new dimension to the actress’s career.
