Warner Bros. Studio and DCEU has confirmed Wonder Woman 3.
Wonder Woman 1984, released worldwide from 25 December, is doing well due to Covid-19. In such a situation, Warner Bros. Studios and DCEU have announced its third part with no delay. The responsibility of its third part has also been given to Patty Jenkins. Patty Jenkins will direct Wonder Woman 3 as well as write its screenplay.
Wonder Woman 1984 has been released on theatres and HBO MAX due to Pandemic and the film has made 85 million worldwide business under such circumstances. These figures are only for the theatres. The figures for HBO MAX are yet to come. The film has been released in 2100 theaters in North America alone, with a domestic collection of 16.7 million so far.
Warner Studios has stated that Wonder Woman 3 will release in only theatres.
A spokesman for Warner Bros. Studios, Toby Emmerich said that-
“Film fans around the world are finding gal Gadot in love as Diana Prince, given the strong opening weekend performance of ‘Wonder Woman 1984’, we have forwarded its third part with Gal Gadot and Patty Jenkins “
Warner Bros. Studio further stated that-
“Wonder Woman 1984 ‘has broken box office records and has met the expectations of the audience in the first 24 hours of service. We hope that the film will continue to perform like this for a few weeks to come” WarnerMedia Direct -For-consumer business head Andy Forssel said “Now when theaters are unable to open due to pandemic, they will get to see it on HBO MAX”
