'Greenland' Sequel Is In Works With Gerard Butler And Morena Baccarin Are Also Return To Reprise Their Roles

‘Greenland’ film’s sequel is in works at Thunder Road Pictures. Ric Roman Waugh is back again to direct the sequel from original film. Gerard Butler and Morena Baccarin are also returning for sequel to reprise their roles as structural engineer John Garrity and Allison Garrity. Gerard Butler is also producing the sequel with Alan Siegel’s G-BASE.

Basil Iwanyk and Brendon Boyea of Thunder Road Pictures and Financier Anton are also producing the sequel. The script for the sequel will be written by Chris Sperling, the writer of the original film. ‘Greenland: Migration’ will be the title of the sequel.

The story of the sequel will begin where the original film Greenland ended. The sequel’s storyline will once again follow the Garrity family, who survives the catastrophe of an interstellar comet hitting Earth. They later take shelter in bunkers in Greenland. Later, they will soon leave the safe bunkers in Greenland in search of a new home. Their journey will take a dangerous turn in the atmosphere in the disaster. Where they must pass through the frozen wastelands of Europe. Greenland: Migration film production to start in 2022.

This will be Gerard Butler’s third film with director Ric Roman Waugh. In addition to Greenland, Gerard Butler has worked with director Ric Roman Angel Has Fallen in the film.
