FX’s limited series, Trust star Harris Dickinson joins Zac Efron in wrestling drama, ‘The Iron Claw‘ for A24, The Nest‘ Sean Durkin is directing.
A24’s upcoming drama feature ‘The Iron Claw’ with Zac Efron in the lead role was announced last June. Efron will be seen portraying Kevin Von Erich on the big screen in the wrestling drama feature based on true events. In this context, Harris Dickinson is attached to play David Von Erich in the film. Tessa Ross, Derrin Schlesinger and Harrison Huffman are producing the film for A24. Apart from directing, Sean Durkin has also wrote the screenplay. House Productions is developing upcoming drama feature with Access Entertainment and BBC Films.
The Iron Claw Plot
New drama feature, The Iron Claw story will follow Kerry Von Erich, an American professional wrestler. The story will highlight the rise and fall of Kerry Von Erich family, a lineage of wrestlers who have made a major impact on the sport from the 1960s to the present day.
In addition to FX’s drama series Trust, British actor Harris Dickinson is also known for 2017’s Beach Rats directed by Eliza Hittman. Dickinson has won the London Film Critics Circle Award for his debut film Beach Rats. Also the actor is also known for playing Prince Philip in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil starring Angelina Jolie. Actor also played the lead role in 20th Century Studios’ spy action Matthew Vaughn’s The King’s Man with Ralph Fiennes. Dickinson has also voiced Gurjin’s character in Netflix’s hit fantasy series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, which is prequel to 1982’s film The Dark Crystal.
Harris Dickinson most recently seen in Sony’s Where The Crawdads Sing. He will next seen in Searchlight Pictures mystery comedy flick, See How They Run. Film is schedule to release in theatres on September 16, 2022.
