Since Warner Bros. Studios has given Jack Snider’s Justice League a green light, fans have raised the demand for the release of the original version of David Ayer‘s cut Suicide Squad. Now its actor Jared Leto has also demanded the release of Iyer Cut.
In 2017, Zack Snyder‘s daughter committed suicide. For this reason, he had to leave the Justice League film in the middle. The film was later completed by Joss Whedon. After that, Justice League did very poor performance at the box office. Later, Zack Snyder had told in an interview that his Justice League is more than 4 hours long and its very Dark.

After this, the fans had since raised the demand to release Snyder’s Cut. In May 2020, Warner Studios decided to re-release the film. It will now be released on HBO MAX in March 2021.
Now, Jared Leto also supported the Idea #ReleaseTheAyerCut. Because in 2016, Warner Broders Studios was teased with Suicide Squad directed by David Iyer. Jared Leto says that David Iyer’s Joker was completely different from the released movie. Apparently, the Joker was rarely seen in the released Suicide Squad. Later, fans run a campaign on Social Media #ReleaseTheAyerCut and it was become a online movement after Snyder’s Justice League. Later in November, David Ayer denies those rumors and said there will be no #ReleaseTheAyerCut.

Jared Leto Response to Ayer’s Cut
In a interview, Jared Leto said that
“I would love for him to be able to work on that and make the film of his dreams. It’s always hard when you make these movies because it’s such a pressure cooker. There are so many decisions that have to be made in a short amount of time. My hat’s off to the directors, the producers, and the studios. It’s not easy. You never start with something that’s perfect. It’s a race to try to make it as good as you can in a short amount of time. And having another swing at things? I’m sure we all can use that.”

Now, Jared Leto has voiced his hopes that the Ayer Cut will be released. Jared statement gives hope to fans.
Suicide Squad 2 is set to release this year on August 4, 2021 in theaters and HBO MAX. Suicide Squad is directed by James Gunn.
