Laurel Marsden joins ‘Ms. Marvel’ Show to play Comic Book character Zoe Zimmer.

‘Ms. Marvel, the upcoming Disney Plus series has confirmed new cast. Actress, Laurel Marsden has joined the series ‘Ms. Marvel’ to play Marvel Comic Book character, Zoe Zimmer. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed this cast. However, Marvel Studios declined to comment to regarding this casting. This Marvel Studios’ upcoming show M. Marvel will focus on teenage superhero, a Kamala Khan.

We have previously seen Laurel Marsden in  Mark Pellington‘s directional TV series ‘Survive’ on Quibi Network. It was a thriller TV series released in the last year 2020. Laurel Marsden was cast opposite Sophie Tuner in ‘Survive’. However, in this TV series, Marsden received very little screen time. Her performance caught the attention of Marvel Studios, which is why Marsden is cast in such a big budget project.

Joe Zimmer’s character was first introduced in 2014 by writer G. Willow Wilson and artist Adrian Alphona in Ms. Marvel 3. According to Comic Book, Joe Zimmer was sometimes Kamala’s friend, sometimes teased her because they were muslims. As we can say, she is sometimes a bully and sometimes a friend. The main character Ms. Marvel is played by Iman Vellani.

Ms. Marvel series is currently under production in Atlanta, in USA.Ms. Marvel’s production is under the supervision of head writer Bisha K. Ali. Ms. Marvel is directed by Bad Boys for Life’s filmmakers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, as well as Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Meera Menon.

This year, more shows from Marvel will be released, it started with WandaVision. WandaVision show has received tremendous response.
