M. Night Shyamalan’s next film trailer has been released during the Super Bowl. Many films and series teaser trailers have been released during the Super Bowl. This is Shyamalan’s next film after ‘Glass‘ 2019, it is a thriller/mystery-horror film.

‘Old’ film featuring stars Gael Garcia Bernal, Alex Wolff, Eliza Scanlen, Thomasin McKenzie, Aaron Pierre, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Ken Leung, Rufus Sewell, Vicky Krieps and Emun Elliott.

The trailer shows us that, ‘Old’ film story revolved around group of people who find a dead body on a beach. Then, they slowly-slowly realize, there is something unnatural happening on the beach.

Shyamalan is currently working on another project as well. Shyamalan has been working on the psychological horror series ‘Servant’ for Apple TV Plus. However, the work of this series was abandoned due to Pandemic. Now Shyamalan is looking to complete it. The story of the Servant series revolves around a couple, who lives in Philadelphia. They suffer from unspeakable tragedy, which creates a rift in their marriage, and opens the door for a mysterious force to enter their house. The second season of ‘Servant’ is premiered on January 15. ‘Servant’s’ third season also renewal after getting positive response from audience.

According to Variety, there was a deal between M. Night Shyamalan and Universal Studio. This deal revealed the studio’s plans to release two new thriller films, that Shyamalan would write, produce and direct both films. First film is obviously ‘Old’, which trailer drops during Super Bowl, Second film is currently unknown but is set to release on Feb. 17, 2023.

‘Old’ Release Date

‘Old’ film was originally scheduled to release on Feb. 26, 2021. But due to Covid-19, its release date was postponed. Now, ‘Old’ is set to release on July 23, 2021 by Universal Studio.

‘Old’ film is produced by M. Night Shyamalan with Ashwin Rajan and Marc Bienstock. Screenplay is also written by Shyamalan.
