Mark Ruffalo and Naomi Ackie Joins Robert Pattinson in Bong Joon Ho’s Next Untitled Film.

Mark Ruffalo, Naomi Ackie will join Robert Pattinson in Warner Bros’ upcoming Untitled film being directed by Oscar winner Bong Joon Ho.

Bong Joon Ho, best known for the Oscar-winning Parasite, is making a film for Warner Bros based on Edward Ashton’s novel Mickey7. It is believed that Marvel’s Hulk aka Mark Ruffalo and Naomi Ackie will join Robert Pattinson in the film. The talks with the actors for the role are in the final stages. Toni Collette from Rian Johnson’s Knives Out may also appear in the film, with her in talks for the role.

The title of Bong Joon Ho’s film is yet to be decided but the film will be inspired by Mickey7, the synopsis of which is as follows,

Mickey7, who is an Expendable: a disposable employee on a human expedition sent to colonize the ice world Niflheim. Whenever there’s a mission that’s too dangerous–even suicidal–the crew turns to Mickey. After on iteration dies, a new body is regenerated with most of his memories intact. After six deaths, Mickey7 understands the terms of his deal….and why it was the only colonial position unfilled when he took it.

Apart from writing and directing the film, Bong Joon Ho will also produce his production banner Offscreen. Dooho Choi of Kate Street Picture Company and Dede Gardner of Plan B Entertainment will also produce the film with Jeremy Kleiner.

Obviously, this is Bong Joon Ho’s first project after Parasite, which he is making for Warner Bros. Bong Joon Ho’s career has got a boost from Parasite. At the 92nd edition of the Academy Awards, Parasite was the non-English-language film that won Best Picture, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay along with Best International Feature Film Awards.

In addition to the untitled film based on Edward Ashton’s novel Mickey7, Bong Joon Ho is working on another project with Warner Bros on HBO. But this is not a film but a limited TV series which is inspired by Parasite. Bong Joon Ho and Dooho Choi coming together again for limited TV series for serving as executive producers with Adam McKay and Kevin Messick.

Mark Ruffalo appeared alongside Ryan Reynolds in the recently released Netflix’s sci-fi adventure feature The Adam Project. He will next seen in Marvel and Disney + Series, She-Hulk. Later, he will next seen in Poor Things from Searchlight Pictures opposite Actress Emma Stone.

Naomi Ackie is best known for Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker, where actress plays Jannah. She will next seen in lead role as Whitney Houston’s biographical musical drama, I Wanna Dance With Somebody. Film is schedule to release on December 21, 2022.

Toni Collette has appeared in the recently released HBO Max limited series The Staircase. Also she appeared in Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Nightmare Alley’.
