Marvel Studio hires two directors for the upcoming Disney Plus series, ‘Secret Invasion’. ‘Secret Invasion’ series will based on Marvel Comic Book by Brian Michael Bendis. Secret Invasion comic book was published in June, 2008.

Thomas Bezucha and Ali Selim are given the task of screening ‘Secret Invasion’ for Marvel Studio. Secret Invasion will be the part of Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thomas Bezucha has previously directed the thriller film Let Him Go for Focus Features and Universal. Let Him Go film was based on novel by Larry Watson with same name. Kevin Costner and Diane Lane plays lead roles in that thriller film, Let Him Go.
Whereas, Ali Selim has been a part of series like The Looming Tower, Condor and Manhunt. Marvel’s ‘Secret Invasion’ series featuring stars, Samuel L. Jackson, who will repise his role as the former Director of S.H.I.E.L.D, Nick Fury, and Ben Mendelsohn is also returning from ‘Captain Marvel’ to reprise his role Skrull, who is also known as Talos.

Secret Invasion series also featuring stars, Olivia Colman, Kingsley Ben-Adir and Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke. These actors will play the role done in the series, it is not known yet. Kyle Bradstreet is serving as executive producer the series, Secret Invasion. He is also writing the script for series. He is best known for Mr. Robot series as executive producer.
‘Secret Invasion’ Series Plot
For now, the plot of the Secret Invasion series is not yet known. But according to the comics book the story of the series will be based on Skrulls, who had penetrated against human society on earth. Skrulls is first introduced in the comic book by Brian Michael Bendis, who was revealed on the film screen through the film, Captain Marvel.

According to the comic book, Dane Whitman aka Black Knight of Eternals may also appear in the Secret Invasion Series. Kit Harington is playing the role of Black Knight in Eternals film. According to the comic book, Black Knight is a superhero who is a revered swordsman. He can assist Nick Fury in dealing with Skrulls. This is also possible, because we can see big crossovers in Marvel Phase 4. Marvel’s President Kevin Feige has already clarified that the films and series of Phase 4 must be interconnected. Whose reference will we see in every film and series.

Release Date
Marvel’s Secret Invasion series production is expected to start in Europe later this year. Secret Invasion series is expected to premiere in Summer 2022 on Disney Plus.
