Milla Jovovich’s first look from the Stefon Bristol-directed action thriller Breathe has been unveiled. Screenplay for the upcoming project is written by Doug Simon, co-writer of the supernatural horror flick, Demonic. Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee, who previously produced Keanu Reeves’ John Wick are producing the pic for Thunder Road Films with Christian Mercuri of Capstone Entertainment Group. Ruzanna Kegeyan of Capstone Entertainment is serving as executive producer with David Haring, Esther Hornstein and Will Flynn. Capstone Entertainment and Thunder Road Films are fully financing the project.
According to Deadline, Milla Jovovich starrer Breathe will follows a mother named Maya and her daughter Wallis, who are forced to live underground after Earth is made uninhabitable due to lack of oxygen. However, only short trips to the surface are made possible by a state-of-art oxygen suit are made by Maya’s husband Darius, whom she presumes to be dead. In meantime, when a mysterious couple arrives claiming to know Darius and his fate, Maya tentatively agrees to let them into their bunker but are they appear to be?
Apart from Milla Jovovich, Jennifer Hudson, Sam Worthington ( Avatar: The Way of Water ), Quvenzhane Wallis and Lonnie Rashid Lynn aka Common. Jennifer Hudson is playing Maya and Quvenzhane Wallis is playing Maya’s daughter. While Common will seen as Darius. Milla Jovovich and Sam Worthington may seen as mysterious couple in upcoming action thriller.
