This international competition was organized by Steve Harvey, in which 80 contestants from different countries participated. In the top three, only Harnaaz Sandhu was followed by Miss South Africa Lalela Mswane and Miss Paraguay Nadia Ferreira. However, there was a bit of drama during the announcement of the winner at the event. Steve Harvey had mixed up the names of the winners, but in time he corrected his mistake and declared the winners in the correct order.

After reaching the top three, Sandhu along with Miss South Africa and Miss Paraguay asked the same question, “What advice would you give to young women watching on how to deal with the pressures they face today?”

Harnaaz answered this question with great impunity. She said that “Well,I think the major pressure the youth of today is facing is to believe in themselves. To know that you are unique and that is what makes you beautiful. Stop comparing yourself to others, and let’s talk about the more important things happening around the world. Come out, speak for yourself, because you are the leader of your life. You are your own voice for your life. I believe in myself and that’s why I stand here today. Thank you.”

On the other hand, Elle Smith of University of Kentucky wins Miss USA 2021 was disappointed with the spirit with which she participated in the event, she also failed to make it to the top 5. Apparently 23-year-old Elle Smith, a WHAS-TV journalist by profession, won the Miss USA 2021 title on November 30 at River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Elle Smith has a bachelor’s in broadcast journalism from the University of Kentucky.

It is obvious that 21-year-old Harnaaz Sandhu hails from the Punjab state of India who lives in a small town Chandigarh.
