Simon McQuoid’s Mortal Kombat film is a concerted effort by Warner Bros. The film has been kept in the R-rated category due to excessive violence. How much violence is there in the film, you can guess from the fact that even the 3 minutes started in the film are difficult and a brutal murder takes place. By the way, video games are full of violence, if Mortal Kombat were in the PG-13 category, then it would have been unfair with the film.

Review

Simon McQuoid’s Mortal Kombat film is special in every way. No one can say that this is his first film as a director. Although there is no newness in the story of the film, but the way the story has been put on screen, it is capable. Simon McQuoid’s direction is amazing, which is made on sight. Greg Russo and Dave Callaham wrote the screenplay very smartly. Actor Joe Taslim is at the peak of his career. He is strong in the character of Sub Zero. Taslim’s ‘The Raid‘ and ‘The Night Came for Us‘ have been his best career films. Mortal Kombat has also been added in this category. Other actors have also performed well.
