Mortal Kombat film is produced by James Wan alongside with Todd Garner and Lawrence Kasanoff. The story of Mortal Kombat film is written by Greg Russo, Ed Boom and Oren Uziel. The film is based on the famous Video Game Mortal Kombat with same name.
Mortal Kombat film is set in a Fictional Universe, which is divided into 18 realms. Mortal Kombat is based on a tournament where warriors compete. Whoever wins will goes into next round. Mortal Kombat film is kept R-Rated. Because Mortal Kombat video game is full of bloodshed. Because, Mortal Kombat games are famous for fatalities, where finishing moves are result in particularly gory end of the opponent. Mortal Kombat Film’s Plot
Mortal Kombat film’s story revolves around MMA fighter Cole Young ( Lewis Tan), who has habituated to beating for money. Cole Young is unaware of his inheritance. Outworld’s Emperor Shang Tsung sends his best warrior Sub-Zero (Joe Taslim )and Cryomancer to kill Cole. For the safety of himself and his family, Cole sets out to find Sonya (Jessica McNamee) on the directions of Jax(Mehcad Brooks). Cole meet a Special Forces Major who bears the same strange dragon marking that Cole was born with. Later Cole finds himself at the temple of Lord Raiden. Here, Cole trains with experienced warriors Liu Kang, Kung Lao and rogue mercenary Kano, as he prepares to stand against the enemies of Outworld in a high stakes battle for universe. Will Cole survive the tournament? It will be known after the release of the film.
