Odessa Young to star in ‘Manodrome’ after Riley Keough exits

Odessa Young will replace Riley Keough in John Trengove’s ‘Manodrome’.

Riley Keough has withdrawn from thriller feature, Manodrome. She has been replaced by Odessa Young, who shared the screen with Johnny Depp . The actress will join Jesse Eisenberg, Adrien Brody, Phil Ettinger, Ethan Suplee and Georghe Murressean in John Trengove’s, ( best known for 2017’s The Wound ) upcoming thriller.

However, Riley Keough will remain involved with the project. She will produce the film under her Felix Culpa banner. Gina Gammell and Ryan Zacarias will also produce for the Felix Culpa banner as well as Ben Giladi will also serving as producer with his Rainmaker Entertainment. Capstone Media Group will sell the film domestically in association with CAA.

Riley Keough responded when Odessa Young was cast in the film, saying, “Young is a great actress, no doubt she is my favorite. I’m intrigued that she will play Sal. She A lot of life has been put into the character. We are honored to have the opportunity to work with Odessa.”

Odessa has also won the AACTA Award in the Best Actress in a Leading Role category for 2016’s The Daughter. Along with this, she has also won the Best Lead Actress Award at the International Academy of Web Television for the 2017 High Life web series as well as won best actress award in Vancouver Web Series Festival for same web series. She played the lead role in the 2020 CBS All Access’s mini-series The Stand, based on Stephen King’s novel. Along with this, Odessa has also been cast in HBO’s Staircase series. The actress’s recent release was Mothering Sunday, which has received a lot of positive response.
