The list of nominations for the 94th edition of the Academy Awards has been released recently. The Power of the Dog tops in Oscar Nominations 2022 list.
About one and a half months are left for the 94th Academy Awards event to happen. Selected Best Films of 2021 have got nominations in different categories. This time around, Netflix’s The Power of the Dog is rocking the Oscar. The Power of the Dog, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, has received the most nominations, 12 in different categories. Netflix’s ‘Don’t Look Up’ starring Leonardo DiCaprio has received 3 nominations at the Oscar nominations 2022.
After The Power of the Dog, Warner Bros’ ‘Dune’ has received the most nominations in 9 categories, including Best Picture, Best Cinematography, Best Original Score, etc. Marvel and Sony‘s Tom Holland’s ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ along with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Daniel Craig’s ‘No Time To Die’ were nominated in the Best Visual Effects category.
On the other hand, Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story has received 7 nominations including the Best Picture category. Denzel Washington also received the 10th nomination in the Best Actor category of his career with The Tragedy of Macbeth.
The 94th Academy Awards are set to take place on March 27, 2022 at Dolby Theatre , Los Angels. See bellow full Oscar Nominations 2022.
