Pete Davidson and Naomi Scott to star in ‘Wizards!’ for A24 and Plan B Entertainment and David Michôd is directing.
Pete Davidson and Naomi Scott to star in Australian writer-director David Michôd’s upcoming film Wizards! for A24 and Plan B Entertainment. Sean Haris and Franz Rogowski are also star in the film. David Michd co-wrote the story of the film with Joel Edgerton ( Obi-Wan Kenobi ) and he is also known for directing Brad Pitt’ War Machine for Netflix. Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner are producing the project with Liz Watts of Plan B Entertainment. This will be the fourth time that A24 and Plan B Entertainment will come together. Earlier both production companies have made films like Moonlight, Minari and The Last Black Man in San Francisco.
Wizards! Film Plot
Wizards! film’s story will follows two hapless pothead beach-bar oprators ( Pete Davidson and Franz Rogowski ), who run into trouble when they stumble across stolen loot that they really should have just left alone, as per Deadline.
Naomi Scott best known for Disney’s fantasy musical 2019’s Aladdin. She will next seen in Universal’s sci-fi comedy feature, Distant. Josh Gordon has directed the film Distant, which stars Anthony Ramos opposite Naomi. Distant is schedule to release in theaters on September 16, 2022.
Naomi Scott recently seen in Netflix’s drama series, Anatomy of a Scandal.
On the other hand, Pete Davidson’s next film will be A24’s black comedy slasher Bodies Bodies Bodies, which is directed by Halina Reijn. Bodies Bodies Bodies is scheduled to release on August 5, 2022. Then, he will next seen in Weed Road Pictures’ romantic comedy Meet Cute, directed by Alex Lehmann. Pete last seen in Warner Bros. and DC’s ‘The Suicide Squad’.
Sean Haris is best known for Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible – Fallout. His previous releases was The Green Knight and ‘Spencer’.
