‘Reminiscence’ Trailer: Hugh Jackman Forces To Find His Love In Mysterious Past

The trailer of Hugh Jackman’s upcoming film ‘Reminiscence‘ has been released for Warner Bros. The upcoming sci-fi/ thriller is directed by Lisa Joy, who is best known for creating HBO‘s sci-fi series Westworld with Christopher Nolan‘s Brother Jonathan Nolan.

Reminiscence Film’s Plot

Reminiscence film is set in Miami in the near future. Where we can clearly see how a large wall has been built to prevent the effect of water due to the rise in sea level. Due to the unbearable heat, people sleep during the day and go out at night. ‘Reminiscence’ film’s story revolves around Nick Bannister, played by Hugh Jackman. As per trailer, Nick is a private investigator, who helps his clients to retrieve their lost memories with his partner ( Thandiwe Newton ).

Here we get to see the other side of the story, Nick’s love lives on in his past memory Mae. Mae is played by Rebecca Ferguson. Because when Nick met Mae, he falls in love with her ever since. Nick’s life changes completely when Mae suddenly disappears. Now Nick has to find out what is the reason behind Mae’s disappearance. It is in this context that he fights to find out the truth.

Lisa Joy also producing the film Reminiscence with Jonathan Nolan, Michael De Luca and Aaron Ryder for Warner Bros. Well, Lisa Joy also write the story of film.

Reminiscence Film’s Release Date

Reminiscence film is all set to release in theaters as well as on streaming service platform HBO Max on same day on August 20, 2021 for Warner Bros.
