Robert Pattinson Batman isn’t the hero in Matt Reeves’ The Batman. The trailers released so far prove this statement more convincing.
Warner Bros and DC’s upcoming superhero film The Batman, directed by Matt Reeves, has almost a month left for its release. But recently released trailers and TV spots suggest that Robert Pattinson‘s Batman is no Hero.
The screenplay is co-written by Matt Reeves with Peter Craig and Mattson Tomlin. Apart from Pattison, superhero flick featuring stars Paul Dano, Colin Farrell, Jeffrey Wright, AAndy Serkis, Zoë Kravitz and Peter Sarsgaard.
Plot
During his second year fighting crime, Batman pursues Riddler ( Paul Dano ), a serial killer who targets elite Gotham City citizens. He uncovers corruption that joins his own family during the investigation, and is forced to make new allies to capture the Riddler and bring the corrupt to justice.
Riddler proves to be one of Batman’s biggest enemies as well as Penguin aka Oswald Cobblepot, who is cunning and corrupt , plays by Colin Farrell.
Why Robert Pattinson Batman isn’t the Hero?
Ever since the first official trailer for The Batman was released, we’ve been confused about the image of our hero. Matt Reeves’s Batman doesn’t match the rest we’ve seen so far. Even after being a billionaire, he does not do charity for social work. At the same time, he beats his enemies like animals. We can clearly hear Robert Pattinson’s Batman saying in the trailer, “The light ( regarding Bat Signal ) you see in the sky is not just a call, It’s a warning.” All these facts raise questions about the heroic image of Batman. Or to say that it is different from the characters we are well acquainted with. He seems furious and mad for revenge, that doesn’t do justice to his image of being a hero. Why is he doing this, things will be clear after release.
Director Matt Reeves has confirmed the film’s runtime, which will be 2 hours 55 minutes without credits.
