Rooney Mara to Star In Aundrey Hepburn Biopic For Apple Studio, Luca Guadagnino Is Directing

‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ actress Rooney Mara is all set to play Audrey Hepburn on big-screen for Apple Studio.

Apple Studios is coming up with the biopic of the legendary Oscar-winning actress Audrey Hepburn. Rooney Mara was signed on to play the legendary actress Audrey in this context. Mara will not only act in the upcoming biopic feature but will also produce the project. Italian director Luca Guadagnino, best known for 2017’s Call Me by Your Name, has been called to direct the biopic. The responsibility of writing the script of the biopic has been given to Michael Mitnick, the writer of The Current War and The Giver.

No plot details have been revealed for the biopic on the life of Audrey Hepburn. But this feature will undoubtedly depict the journey of the legendary actress.

Actress Audrey Hepburn was born on 4 May 1929 in Belgium, England. British actress has given many outstanding films during her career. Breakfast at Tiffany’s, My Fair Lady, Funny Face, Sabrina and Roman Holiday are the films in which the actress has given a wonderful performance. For these five films, the actress was also nominated in the Academy Award’s Best Actress category. In 1953, Audrey won the Academy Award for Roman Holiday.

The actress impressed everyone with her acting. She was a famous fashion icon of her time. The famous French Hubert de Givenchy was her designer. Apart from being a successful actress, she was also a social worker. She also devoted a major part of her life to charitable work. By the 1980s, the actress joined UNICEF to work for humanitarian projects, which forced her to retire from acting. She died on 20 January 1993 in Switzerland.

It is clear that Audrey Hepburn’s biopic will give new dimensions to Rooney Mara’s career. Because Apple studio has worked hard for this prestige project. The studio has defeated major Hollywood studios in bidding for the rights to the Hepburn biopic.

Rooney Mara’s recent release is Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Nightmare Alley’Nightmare Alley, which has been well received by the audience. She will next seen in ‘Women Walking ‘based on the novel by Miriam Toews and directed by Sarah Polley.
