Ryan Gosling’s next film has been confirmed. The film will be based on Donald E. Westlake’s novel ‘Memory’ published in 2011. This upcoming Ryan Gosling’s film titled is ‘The Actor’. Duke Johnson will direct this project.
Ryan Gosling will produce this film “The Actor” with Waypoint Entertainment’s Ken Kao, Duke Johnson and his Innerlight Films partner Abigail Spencer and Paul Young with his Make Good Banner as per Deadline.
‘The Actor’ Film Plot
In this adaptation of Donald E. Westlake’s novel, Ryan Gosling will play the role of Paul Cole of New York actor, who is beaten and left for dead in 1950’s in Ohio. Paul lost his memory in this accident according to the novel. The film ‘The Actor’ will show Paul Cole’s struggle and his journey back home despite with lost memories. ‘The Actor’ film will be a dark and painful portrait of a man’s struggle against merciless forces that threaten to strip him of his very identity. We start to sympathize with Paul Cole on hearing.
Surprisingly, Donald E.Westlake wrote this novel ‘Memory’ in 1966, but it was published in 2011. Westlake was died in December 31, 2008.
Ryan Gosling is currently filming The Gray Man. Chris Evans is also acting with him in this film. The Gray Man is an action drama being produced under Netflix. The Gray Man is directing by Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame fame Russo Brothers, Joe Russo and Anthony Russo for Netflix. Earlier, Russo Brothers has produced the Extraction film for Netflix. Joe Russo also wrote the screenplay for the film Extraction. Extraction has become the biggest film for Netflix yet.
