‘Scream 5’ First Reaction Reviews: Does horror-thriller live up to the expectations?

First reaction reviews have surfaced for Paramount’s horror thriller ‘Scream 5’, directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett.

The latest installment is hitting the big screen after almost 11 years which featuring stars Neve Campbell as Sydney, David Arquette as Riley and Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers from the original film return for the latest installment. Jenna Ortega, Dylan Minnette , Melissa Barrera and from the boys season 2 Jack Quaid are also stars. Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett are also serving as producers with their Radio Silence Productions banner. Screenplay has written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick. William Sherak, James Vanderbilt and Paul Neinstein also serving as producers.

Plot

‘Scream 5’ film’s story will be based on the events of Woodsboro City 25 years later. Where begins the chain of brutal murders in this quiet city. A new killer wearing a Ghostface mask begins targeting a group of teenagers in order to re-live the secrets of the city’s deadly past.

Now the issue arises that how much was the new installation able to scare the audience on the big screen or not? The first reactions reviews seem to be going in favor of the horror franchise.
