Actress Liz Sheridan, who is best known for playing Jerry Seinfeld in iconic sitcom, ‘Seinfeld’, has died at the age of 93.
Actress Liz Sheridan, who played Jerry’s mother in the famous 90s sitcom ‘Seinfeld’ as Helen Seinfeld for almost 10 years, is no longer in this world. The actress died in her sleep. The death of the actress has been confirmed by her friend and representative Amanda Hendon. Obviously, the actress celebrated her 93rd birthday a few days back. And five days later, on April 15, she died.
Amanda Hendon said that Liz died of natural causes in her sleep. Expressing his condolences on the death of the actress, her onscreen son Jerry Seinfeld said that, “Liz was always the sweetest, nicest TV mom a son could wish for. Every time she came on our show it was the coziest feeling for me. So lucky to have known her.”
The actress was born on April 10, 1929, in the city of Rye, New York. The actress started her professional career as a singer and dancer in nightclub in 1950.
Liz has worked in about 2 dozen films during her career. Her first film was the 1982 comedy drama Jekyll and Hyde… Together Again. Play the Game of 2009 was the last film of the actress.
Liz Sheridan was more active in TV than in films. Liz tried her hand at TV through 1977’s Kojak. Success kissed the feet of the actress in such a way that she never looked back. In TV, Liz has featured in shows such as The A-Team, ALF, Life with Louie, and, who can forget Jerry Seinfeld’s iconic sitcom “Seinfeld” during her career.
