Shawn Levy Set To Direct Ryan Reynolds’s Deadpool 3 For Marvel.

Shawn Levy, who is best known for Netflix’s The Adam Project and 20th Century Fox’ Free Guy is all set to direct third film with Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool 3 for Marvel Studio.

Work on Deadpool 3, which was announced in November 2020, is now in full swing. Marvel’s much-awaited Deadpool 3 starring Ryan Reynolds seems to have found its director. Shawn Levi, director of Netflix’s recent sci-fi/adventure feature The Adam Project, will once again return to direct Ryan Reynolds in the third installment of Deadpool for Marvel Studios. In addition, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the original screenwriters from the first two films, are also returning to write the story for the third installment. However, with the announcement of Deadpool 3, the names of Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux, the craters of Bob’s Burgers, were revealed as screenwriters.

Although this news is not completely officially confirmed yet. But actor Ryan Reynolds’ Instagram post makes it clear that he’ll be working with director Shawn Levy for the third time in an upcoming Marvel project. While posting the picture, the actor clearly writes in the caption that, “The third film in my Shawn Levy trilogy will be a tad more stabby. @slevydirect @deadpoolmovie. Undoubtedly, Shawn is a great detector, both his recent releases have been well received by the audience. It is evident that Shawn Levi has produced films such as Night At The Museum trilogy, Real Steel with Hugh Jackman and The Pink Panther, in addition to the Free Guy and The Adam Project.

Obviously, the first two films of the franchise performed well at the box office. The first 2016′ Deadpool was directed by Tim Miller and grossed $782 million at the box office from a budget of around $60 million. The second installment Deadpool 2 was directed by David Leitch ( Bullet Train )which earned a whopping $785 million at the box office.
