One reason could also be because Disney recently shifted the release date of Marvel’s Black Widow film from May 7 to July 9. Due to which the Black Widow movie slot became vacant. That is why, Lionsgate Studio will not miss an opportunity where the Spiral film does get low competition and earns a lot of profit. Angelina Jolie’s thriller film ‘Those Who Wish Me Dead‘ is also releasing on the same day. Still there will be little competition for Spiral, if Black Widow was released then it would have made more difference.
