Warner Bros.’s DC FanDome event ended with the trailer for Matt Reeves’ “The Batman”, with a bang today.
Batman is one such character from DC Comics Books that has ruled the hearts of the audience for the last decade and a half. He does not have the power of a superhero, but still he is adept at smothering his enemies. His biggest weapon is the passion to fight against crime. He is such a character from the comic book that everyone can relate to. That is the reason why he is much liked as compared to superheroes. Now that’s why we’re bringing our all-time favorite character, Matt Reeves, to The Batman, whose new trailer was dropped at the DC FanDome event.

The new trailer for The Batman follows a fairly dark theme, with Robert Pattinson’s Batman investigating a high-profile murders committed by Riddler ( Paul Dano ), who arrested by commissioner James Gordon ( Jeffrey Wright ). In the film, Riddler proves to be one of Batman’s biggest enemies, the proof of which we can clearly see in the trailer. During the trailer, he is seen playing brain games with Batman. Or should you say it is reminiscent of Christopher Nolan‘s Dark Knight Trilogy.
Director Matt Reeves has clarified on a previous DC FanDome occasion that The Batman film will see the prowess of Batman’s Detective. So at that time Batman wouldn’t be so popular in Gotham.

In the middle of the investigation, Selina Kyle aka Catwoman appears in Batman’s way. Although Batman is also concerned about Selina, she says, “I can take care of myself”. Then we get acquainted with the character of Penguin aka Oswald Cobblepot plays by Colin Farrell, who seems completely unfamiliar. Peguin appears to be absolutely cunning and corrupt, believe me you would like to avoid such a person.
Also we can see Andy Serkis ( Venom: Let There Be Carnage ) in the character of Alfred Pennyworth in the film. It will be interesting to see how Batman teams up with the Gotham Police to take on Riddler and Penguin. During the trailer, the best chasing sequences are seen from Bat Mobile. Batman’s hand to hand combat doesn’t let the eyes blink. Then there comes a scene where armed criminals are shooting one after another at Batman, but he goes on, it was really a badass scene.
