Ronan Vibert, best known for the 2017 crime thriller The Snowman, has passed away at the age of 58.
British actor Ronan Vibert passed away in Florida after a short illness at the age of 58. The news of the actor’s death was confirmed by his manager Sharon Vitro last night. However, the exact cause of death has not been known at the moment.
Actor Ronan Vibert was born on February 23, 1964, in Cambridgeshire, England. He graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 1985. Vibert was a rich actor of talent, he did many brilliant plays in TV and films as well as in theatre like, The Bush, Hampstead Theatre, The Gate, Manchester Royal Exchange, and Bristol Old Vic.
Ronan Vibert started his career in Television in 1989 with the award winning British miniseries Traffik. Further, he also appeared in TV Series like, Birds of a Feather, Lovejoy , Rome, The Borgias, Gimme Gimme Gimme and Penny Dreadful.
Vibert’s career in films has also been quite impressive. He worked with big directors in his film career. He appeared in the 2000 period horror comedy Shadow of the Vampire, directed by E. Elias Merhige, alongside Willem Dafoe and John Malkovich. Then, two years later, he appeared opposite Adrien Brody in the biographical war drama The Pianist directed by Roman Polanski that won 3 Oscars at the 75th edition of the Academy Awards. During this time he also appeared in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider – The Cradle of Life, starring Angelina Jolie. He also appeared in the 2013 biographical drama Saving Mr. Banks, directed by John Lee Hancock, alongside Emma Thompson and Tom Hanks. Apart from this, he has also appeared in Dracula Untold with Luke Evans. 2017 psychological thriller The Snowman was Ronan Virbert’s last film. Unfortunately, his career ended as a supporting actor.
Ronan Vibert survived by his wife, Jess Grand Virbert.
