‘To Catch A Thief’ Reboot Is Forwarding With Gal Gadot At Paramount

1955’s classic thriller To Catch A Thief reboot is moving forward with Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot.

A reboot of 1955’s To Catch A Thief, directed by Alfred Hitchock, is in development at Paramount . Justice League actress Gal Gadot has been signed in this context. The actress will not only act but will also produce the reboot along with her partner Jaron Varsano under their banner Pilot Wave. Neal Moritz will also produce the reboot of the classic thriller under his banner Original Film.

Cary Grant and Grace Kelly played the lead roles in the original film. The film’s story was based on the 1952 novel by David Dodge with same name. What will be the story of the reboot, it is not yet known.

Eileen Jones Will Write Script

Paramount Studios has called on Eileen Jones to write the story for the remake of To Catch A Thief. Eileen Jones is best known for Fox’s crime series Prodigal Son, of which 2 seasons have been released so far. However, the series has been canceled after 2 seasons.

Gal Gadot is one of the busy actresses in today’s time. His recent release was Netflix’s Red Notice, which has become the most-watched film on the streaming platform. According to a report, the watching time of Red Notice has been 328 million, which is a record. This action comedy flick also starred Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds in lead roles along with Gadot.

She will next seen in Kenneth Branagh’s ‘Death on the Nile’, which is schedule to release on February 11, 2022. Then, she will next seen in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs which is being directed by Marc Webb. Gal Gadot will then appear in two Patty Jenkins films, one of which is Cleopatra and the other one is ‘Wonder Woman 3’ of Warner Bros’ DC’s Universe.
