Tomb Raider’s sequel is forwarding with creators of Lovecraft Country Misha Green. She is going to direct the sequel of Tomb Raider movie and also write the story of this film for MGM. This news has been confirmed by Deadline. Prior to this, Misha Green has created a horror TV series like Lovecraft Country for HBO. The lead role was played by Jurnee Smollett and Jonathan Majors. Lovecraft country was well appreciated by the critics. This drama series have 10 episodes in first season.
It is not that Misha Green is an unknown name. Misha Green has previously worked as a writer for Heroes and Sons of Anarchy.

In 2016, she creates a period drama show Underground for HBO. The show received positive response from critics and by the viewers. Underground show 2 seasons have been released so far.
Now she is going to direct the sequel of Tomb Raider with Alicia Vikander. Although Tomb Raider’s box office collection in 2018 was not so good. Tomb Raider’s box office collection of 2018 was around 280 million. While its budget was 90–106 million. The 2018 Tomb Raider was directed by Roar Uthaug.
In Tomb Raider’s sequel, we will once again see Alicia Vikander playing the role of Lara Croft. Tomb Raider’s sequel will be produced by Graham King via his GK Films Production Company and Elizabeth Cantillon via The Cantillon Company. The Sequel will be released theatrically in USA via the studio’s distribution and marketing joint venture United Artists Releasing, and worldwide releasing by Warner Bros. Studio.
