Universal has unveiled the first look for Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’. World War II drama feature stars Cillian Murphy and Emily Blunt in the lead roles. This World War II by Christopher Nolan is heavily star-studded. Apart from this, Kenneth Branagh ( Tenet )has also entered the film. Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Robert Downey Jr., Rami Malek, Josh Hartnett, Benny Safdie, Dan DeHaan and Jack Quaid are also stars in Christopher Nolan’s next drama feature.

Christopher Nolan is directing the film as well as write the screenplay, which based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book ‘American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer’ by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin. Cillian Murphy is playing the title role as J. Robert Oppenheimer in Christopher Nolan’s next war drama. Emily Blunt is playing the role of Cillian Murphy’s wife, who was American physicist and centric to the Manhattan Project. Shooting for the film will take place in New Mexico, California and New Jersey.

Kenneth Branagh, who is associated with the cast of the film, has recently released the murder mystery Death on the Nile, which has been well received by the audience as well as the critics. Kenneth will be working with Christopher Nolan for the third time after Tenet, Dunkirk.

Oppenheimer Release Date

Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer will be released about two weeks before the anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima. Oppenheimer is set to hit theaters on July 21, 2023.
