‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ Release Delayed To September To Avoid Clash With ‘Fast 9’

Tom Hardy and Woody Harrelson starrer, Venom: Let There Be Carnage film’s release pushed back to September. Venom: Let There Be Carnage is sequel to the 2018, Venom. However, Sony Pictures had set ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage‘ for debut in theaters on October 1, 2020.

.But due to Covid-19, the film’s release date was pushed forward. Sony Pictures set the Venom: Let There Be Carnage film’s release date for June 24, 2021. Now on the same day of June, Vin Diesel’s Fast and Furious 9 film is being released. In such a situation, it was natural to have a clash between the two films. That is why Sony Pictures had to alter the Venom film release date. Otherwise, both films would have suffered a lot in this clash.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage Film’s New Release Date

Now, Sony Picture’s ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage‘ film will be released on September 17,2021 in Theaters. In this film, apart from Tom Hardy and Woody Harrelson, Stephan Graham, Naomie Harris, Sean Delaney, Michelle Williams will also be seen. Venom: Let There Be Carnage film directed by  Andy Serkis. Woody Harrelson is playing as antagonist Cletus Kasady ( Carnage ), who made a last-minute cameo in ‘Venom’ film (2018). Tom Hardy is playing journalist Eddie Brock, who unites with an alien symbiote to form Venom, an anti-superhero. Kelly Marcel has written the script for ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’.

Venom’s first part was a tremendous hit at the box office. Venom’s film grossed $ 856 million worldwide at the box office with a budget of $100 million.

However, another big film of Sony Pictures, Ghostbuster: Afterlife is being released in the month of June. Ghostbuster: Afterlife will hit theaters on June 11, 2021. This film featuring stars, legendary actor Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Finn Wolfhard, McKenna Grace, Sigourney Weaver, Paul Rudd, and Ernie Hudson.  Jason Reitman has direct the film, Ghostbuster: Afterlife.
