Warner Bros. Studio has announced release date of their upcoming films ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’s’ Prequel, ‘The Color Purple’ and ‘Coyote vs. Acme’.
Warner Bros. Studios has announced the release date for its upcoming three films. According to schedule of Warner Bros. Studios, the prequel to George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road, titled Furiosa, received a summer date of June 23, 2023. George Miller is going to direct the prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road. The film stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlize Theron, Yahya Abdul-Mateen and Chris Hemsworth. The story of this film will be before Fury Road.
The live-action animated film Coyote vs. Acme will be released on July 21, 2023. Dave Green is the director of this film. The story of Coyote vs. Acme is around the age-old rivalry between Wile E. and his preferred mail order supplier. James Gunn is co-writer of screenplay. This film is based on Ian Frazier’s fictional article with same name ‘Coyote vs. Acme’.
Finally the feature adapter of the musical The Color Purple will be released in theaters on 20 December 2023. The film will be a remake of 1985’s The Color Purple, directed by Steven Spielberg. This Film was based on by Alice Walker in 1983. Blitz Bazawule is directing the new The Color Purple film. This film is being produced by Oprah Winfrey and Steven Spielberg. However, the star casting of this film has not been done yet. The film is the story of Celie, a black woman who learns her self-worth with the help of her two friends.
