Warner Bros. Discovery has canceled the upcoming HBO Max animated series Batman: Caped Crusader.

Apart from Batman: The Caped Crusader ,HBO Max's animated projects like Merry Little Batman, The Day The Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie are also cancelled

The cancellation of Batman: Caped Crusader by Warner Bros has been the biggest surprise decision compared to other projects.

The canceled Batman: Caped Crusader animated series was one of HBO Max's most important projects, with Matt Reeves and J.J. Abrams attached as producers.

Series star Diedrich Bader is deeply hurt by the cancellation of the Batman: Caped Crusader animated series.

Expressing his displeasure, Diedrich Bader posted on Twitter, writing that, "Well crap. I was on this. Hell of a way to find out."

Warner Bros. has previously canceled Batgirl with a budget of $90 million starring Leslie Grace, citing poor screenings.

But still, hope is not lost for the animated series Batman: Caped Crusader. But it won't stream on HBO Max.

Rumor has it that the makers of Batman: Caped Crusader may release the animated series on other network.

Apparently, Warner Bros. recently removed dozens of kids and family shows, including Sesame Street, from the streaming platform HBO Max.

Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav is currently focusing entirely on revamping DC to only show big-budget content on HBO Max.

Last month, an HBO Max spokesperson said that, "Live action kids and family content will not   be part of our programming focus in the immediate future."

Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav has made it clear that his first priority will be to create strong content like Marvel.

The Batman directors Matt Reeves and J.J. Abrams have yet to react to the cancellation of the Batman: Caped Crusader series.
