Chadwick Boseman won the Posthumous Emmy Award for Marvel's Disney+ series, What If...?

Late Chadwick Boseman wins an Emmy Award for voicing the character of T'Challa Became a star-Lord in Marvel's Disney+ series,  What If..?.

Taylor Simone Ledward, wife of late actor Chadwick Boseman, received the Emmy Award on her husband's behalf.

Receiving the award, Taylor Simone Ledward said ,passionately that, "Thank you so much for the honor. Chad would be so honored, and I'm honored on his behalf."

Emmy Award for Marvel's Disney+ series What If...? was the first in Chadwick Boseman's career, which was also the first nomination he received after his death.

Apparently Chadwick Boseman tragically died on August 28, 2020, due to colon cancer.

Chadwick Boseman's entry into the MCU  as T'Challa aka Black Panther was  in 2016's Captain America: Civil War, directed by the Russo Brothers.

Ryan Coogler's Black Panther, which released in 2018, was Chadwick Boseman's first solo film in the MCU.

Black Panther was the first Marvel film to be nominated in seven categories including Best Picture at the Academy Awards.

Later on, in addition to the What If..?  series, Chadwick Boseman appeared in Marvel's two big event films Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame.

Following the death of Chadwick Boseman, honoring his legacy, Marvel confirmed in December 2020 that the actor would no longer appear in Black Panther 2 as T'Challa.

In this context, the first trailer for Black Panther Wakanda Forever, dropped during the San Diego Comic-Con event, paid tribute to the late actor Chadwick Boseman.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be the final film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4 which will be released in theaters on November 11, 2022.
