DC and Marvel are the first to come to mind when it comes to superhero movies and we are compelled to compare who is the best of the two.

When it comes to the box office, no one can compete with Marvel. Marvel's 28 films released so far have done a business of about 27 billion at the box office, which is far ahead of DC

But talking about the current situation, DC's last released films are doing better than Marvel.

Because at present, the variety that DC is bringing in its films in terms of content is commendable. Matt Reeves's The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson is perfect example.

Even if James Gunn's The Suicide Squad, which got rave reviews, fell behind at the box office, it still serves up something new.

On the other hand, Marvel has disappointed, except for Spider-Man: No Way Home, Shang Chi and the recent release Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Obviously, Marvel's Eternals and Black Widow did not live up to the expectations of the audience. Jared Leto's Morbius turns out to be the worst film of the franchise.

On the other hand, Warner Bros and DC's so far released films have consistently performed well except Wonder Woman 1984 starring Gal Gadot.

It is clear that after 2017's Justice League, Warner Bros and DC corrected their shortcomings which are clearly visible in their films.

The release schedule for DC's upcoming movies is very strong which will surely give a tough competition to Marvel, starting with Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam which will release on October 21, 2022

Marvel's Thor: Love and Thunder will be released in theaters on July 7, 2022.
