It wouldn't be wrong to say that DC's future rests on Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam.

Black Adam will determine the future of not only DC but also Dwayne Johnson.

That's why Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam needs to emerge not only as a hit but a big blockbuster.

DC's future could be in jeopardy once again if Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam fails at the box office

Obviously no studio can lay the foundation for a universe with a handful of faces, even though DC is a huge universe with dozens of superheroes unfamiliar to the general audience.

Clearly, Aquaman, Wonder Woman and Shazam! are currently the face of Warner Bros' DC Universe, while Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam will introduce very soon.

On the other hand, the future of Henry Cavill's Superman at DC still remains in doubt. Although rumor has it that he may appear in Black Adam.

How long Warner Bros will continue to have Ben Affleck as Batman at DC is also not known at this time.

On the other hand, Warner Bros. is in no mood to keep Ezra Miller from continuing as Flash at DC after The Flash release due to serious allegations.

In such a situation, if for some reason Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam fails at the box office, then DC could be on the verge of closure.

Because Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam along with the Justice Society may introduce other comics characters to the DCEU in the future, if the movie fails it will all be a dream.

Also, if Black Adam flops, don't be surprised if Warner Bros shuts down DCEU completely or reboots it all over again.

Because in the past, Warner Bros surprised everyone by canning Batgirl starring Leslie Grace.

Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam will have to perform better at the box office anyway to keep DCEU alive.

If Black Adam emerges as a big blockbuster, Dwayne Johnson may bring other comic book characters to the DCEU. The Universe we see today is not even just barely 5%.

Although in this context, Zack Snyder did try to explore the DCEU but he turned away from DC due to differences with Warner Bros.

Warner Bros. and DC's Black Adam is schedule to release in theatres on October 21, 2022.
