David Tennant and Catherine Tate are returning to reprise their as Doctor and Donna Noble in 'Doctor Who'.

David Tennant and Catherine Tate are confirmed to return to Doctor Who by showrunner Russell T. Davies through Instagram Post. 

Apparently, Doctor Who, the British sci-fi series that started in 1963, is going to complete its 60 years on BBC One in the year 2023.

In 2023, Doctor Who will celebrate its 60th anniversary on BBC One.

It is evident that David had joined the series as the 10th Doctor from 2005 to 2010.

And even before that, David Tennant has also returned in the Eleventh Doctor version of Matt Smith on the series' 50th anniversary.

13th Doctor in the series currently is Jodie Whittaker, which recently premiered in the Legend of the Sea Devils episode. 

Ncuti Gatwa, the star of Netflix's comedy-drama series 'Sex Education', will be the next doctor in the series.

It is also worth noting that under the leadership of David Tennant, series was very successful. During the 2008, each episode of series averaged over 8 million views.

Apart from Doctor Who, David Tennant is also known for the Netflix superhero series Jessica Jones.
